Clean India, Prosperous India………….. BVM, USN remembers the Father of Nation & Shastri Ji
Commemorating the birth anniversaries  of the two colossal figures of India, 150th birth  anniversary of the father of the nation and 115th birth anniversary of the second Prime Minister of India Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji ,Bhartiyas at BVM (USN) participated in class presentations, speeches, enactment, choreography, awareness drive, slogan writing ,debate today. Paying homage to the apostles of peace and humility, Siya, a student of class 9th threw a spotlight on the life of Bapu and his role in awakening the masses to remove social evils like untouchability, poverty and casteism. Mrs. Priyanka Kapila (TGT social science) apprised the students with the ideology of Sh. Shastri ji who played a vital role in the White Revolution. Forwarding the message of Gandhiji, Yoovanshu Bajaj (11th science) delved on realising the dream of Gandhi ji to make India a clean and healthy nation. Prime focus of the short enactment (class 8th to 10th) was to showcase the ideology of the saintly figure. Energetic Bhartiyans of class 10th to 12th joined the campaign ‘Fit India Plogging Run’ creating an awareness to pick litter while jogging through placards bearing cleanliness slogans and messages. Patriotic strings were touched by the students of class 9th through their fervent presentations in the form of song and choreography by spreading the message of universal brotherhood, harmony and peace. A parliamentary discussion on ‘Ban on Plastic: to liberate the nation from the menace of single use plastic’ was also held for the students of class XII. Bharatiyans also pledged to keep their surroundings clean and pollution free by shunning single use plastic in day today life and managing the litter from their locality & make India a healthy and progressive nation. 
Speaking on the occasion Shri. M.M.Bamba ji (President) and Shri K. C Maini ji (Manager)  advocated the students to follow the path of co-operation, affinity and tranquility. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi exhorted the students to become true citizens of nation by following Gandhian principles.
